These make such pretty decorations for the Christmas tree or around the house at Christmas time!!!!
what you need…
- loaf of white bread
- cookie cutter shape
- straw
- glue
- silver paint
- glitter
- ribbon
what you do…
- push down your cookie cutter shape into the slice of bread
- push the bread shape out and leave on a tray
- continue until you feel you have sufficient number of shapes
- pierce a hole at the top of each shape with the straw
- leave you bread shapes to harden for about 24 hours
- 24 hours later you will now find your bread shapes hard!!!
- mix your silver paint and glue together and paint over the shapes on both sides
- then sprinkle as much glitter as possible over the top
- leave to dry
- once dry, thread your ribbon through the top of each shape and hang on the Christmas tree and watch them sparkle
into a little dream adventure…
- use your Christmas cookie cutters to make little shaped sandwiches for a Christmas themed tea time
