what to do…

  2. blend butter, sugar, flour and eggs together until smooth
  3. transfer half into a separate bowl
  4. add milk and cocoa into one bowl of mixture and stir
  5. break up the chocolate pieces and add to the second bowl of mixture
  6. add the mixtures alternatively to the loaf cases and then use the skewer to gently swirl the mixtures to create a marbled effect
  7. sprinkle each loaf with sugar and bake for 20 mins in the oven
  8. remove from oven and leave to cool

into a little dream adventure…

  • these look so lovely when cooked you could gift wrap and give as little treats to friends or thank you gifts
  • to gift wrap: make strips of baking paper and wrap around the centre of each cake and secure with tape – then with some ribbon or string tie around to create a sweet packaged cake ready to give as a gift
  • you may want to attach a little luggage label with your friends name on it…encouraging your child to hear for the initial letter sounds of the name to be written
