Early morning walk to clear the cobwebs of the week and what do I see??? The most beautiful wishing moon over Richmond park…I’ve always believed that ‘anything is possible when you wish upon a moon’ and there it was for me this morning, and another wish was made, let’s see if it will come true?

I remembered a beautiful poem from my childhood on the walk home and wanted to share it with you…

I see the moon and the moon sees me, and the moon sees the one that I can’t see. God bless the moon and God bless me and God bless that one that I can’t see.

God looked down on me from above, and he gave you to me for me to love .He picked you out from all the rest, because he knew that I’d love you the best.

I see the moon and the moon sees me, God bless the moon and God bless me. Please let the light that shines on me, shine on the one I love ….

A few hours later after writing my blog about the wishing moon, my husband sent me this stunning photo of a rainbow over the city of London…two of my favourite things in one photo!!!

London, 8th January 2016, your skies are an inspiration to us all today…
