Emily Nott-Bower is a Cornish based jewellery designer who started designing in 2006 after completing her Silversmithing course in London.  Moving down to Cornwall in 2007 Emily began to draw her inspiration from the landscape around her.  Having spent most of her childhood holidays in Cornwall, her parents having a holiday cottage just outside Wadebridge, Emily’s love of the rugged North Cornish coast was instilled in her from a very early age.  As a child many hours were spent combing beaches for the most interesting shells, whiling the summer days away searching for the elusive cowrie or looking in warm rock pools for shrimps and fish.

The coast has always been a huge part of her life.  Taking this love Emily began to incorporate the sea into her jewellery. Having a large collection of shells she began to cast them, the Epphaven mussel pendant being her first piece, and make them into pieces of jewellery.  She now has a wonderful jewellery collection which is constantly having new pieces introduced.  After the birth of her second child in 2010 She Sells Sea Shells was formed and is now going from strength to strength with pieces being sold in many shops in the South West and London.
