Bumble & Ava
Bumble & Ava is an online fair trade and ethically made children’s clothing brand with a beautiful range of clothes and accessories for babies, toddlers and children, designed along classic lines with a romantic twist. Our collection includes dresses, rompers, pantaloons, shirts and blouses. The vibrant and playful prints that Bumble & Ava use to make their clothes are completely unique, really making them stand out from the crowd.
Mother and daughter, Alexandra ‘Bumble’ and Natasha founded Bumble & Ava shortly after the birth of Natasha’s elder daughter Ava in 2013. As a talented seamstress, Alexandra began to design and make clothes for Ava. Her handmade, stylish designs were admired and she began to take bespoke orders. Natasha worked in the interior design world in London for 10 years. Her passion for prints, colours and textiles has led to a natural collaboration and the idea for Bumble & Ava was born.
Designed in London, the clothes are manufactured in Kenya where Alexandra lives. The factory used to make the clothes is part of the World Fairtrade Organization. The factory has implemented its own self-help group in Kenya; the purpose of which is provide all members with access to financial funds, to assist with children’s education, housing and pension preparations.
